A passion for conservation and helping others. Shannon's core values are service, education, innovation, collaboration, and integrity.
Shannon grew up on a working farm in Barton County. Graduated from Lamar High School and pursued a Master's Degree. Pursued her dreams of playing collegiate volleyball and continues to stay involved by refereeing and consulting in the volleyball community.

Her dreams took her to San Antonio and Houston, Texas where she pursued a career that focused on construction developments and new home sales. From the USGA TPC Cibolo Canyons to The Woodlands. The mentality of these metro markets made an enormous impression that directs her work to this day. These hot markets exposed her to a variety of experiences that lends her expertise to unique problem-solving, marketing methods, and negotiations in over 700 transactions.

Her family lives in Carthage where they volunteer and contribute to many organizations. Shannon can most visibly be seen as a volunteer for the Joplin Trails Coalition as a trail maintainer for a section of The Ruby Jack where she can be frequently seen riding her bike, practicing for a long-distance backpacking excursion, or walking her two dogs.
